Message in a Bottle Update

Wow, it’s been quite a weekend for Message in a Bottle! Over 40 people have signed up, and I’ve sent out a dozen bottles so far.

I’m still accepting sign-ups, although you probably won’t receive a bottle from me. Instead, I’m going to distribute those addresses to people who need their “third” in the bottles they’re sending out—that third address of a person who wants to join the project. If anyone needs an extra address, just get in touch with me, and I can supply it.

  1. Okay…..I have been all over GMS and I, for the life of me, can’t find your e-mail listed. :-/

As I have already posted, I have received my bottle. And now I read how you have others who are anxious for a bottle. Well, I was going to send my bottle off to one of my friends, but she may not follow through with this…….she tends to be nervous about her personal information (and that includes her name and address) Therefore I would rather send my bottles on to someone from your list of names who actually wants to participate. Could you please send me a name (ith address)?

Now watch…….just as soon as I send this on…..I will figure it out and find that e-mail of yours. :-)

  2. Wow….a dozen bottles….

That’s a lot of water…..I hope you are pacing yourself. We would hate for you to float away. :-)

  3. @Robin: My email address is purposely not listed on this site, because in the past, posting it has only led to all sorts of freaks and weirdos emailing me, expecting me to be their personal guru/teacher/shrink/guide to the Internet. I just can’t be that girl.

The easiest way to contact me is to sign up for my newsletter, and reply to me when you receive an issue.

Oh, and water—I don’t drink soda, so it’s iced tea or water around here. I’m a 64oz or more a day drinker, which means I can clear out a six pack of bottles a day, and then some.

  4. Cool how you have that water bottle graphic “sparkling.” You’re getting to be quite master of your domain! :)

  5. @Andrea I’ve been the master of my domain(s) for thirteen years. I used the world’s oldest, dustiest piece of software to animate those sparkles.

  6. Oh duh….. :-)

I just knew it was going to be something that simple.

Okay I’ll e-mail you via the newsletter. :-)

    Thanks….

Hope you are having a beautiful day

  7. I’ve sent out my 3rd bottle yesterday. Can’t wait to see what washes up in my direction!
